I
placed a quarter page panel in Frieze 60 displaying Black Star
Music XII and a half page in Frieze 61 displaying Aspect II and
an article on Elementalism. This covers a period fortuitously of June to the
close of September 2OO1. I also took two half pages in Blueprint, in the July and October
2OO1 issues. Advertising gives me
a single work ‘exhibition’ to be visited by all the readers of Frieze and
Blueprint at least once. This gives me a far greater degree of exposure than
I could yet hope for in any physical space, by what ever name. What is more I have given my ‘Gallery hand
out’ to all those readers the majority of whom will keep it safe, in it’s
magazine, in perpetuity. The exhibition is its own catalogue and the
catalogue is thus it’s own exhibition. |
