          My works are evolutionary spaces where complexities of line and form resolve themselves toward a closure; Ideally to realise and Ikonise the distant dream of Elegance. This Geometric -Op Art Procedure I call Elementalism. The result is a style not unlike Architectural drawing, in for the most part, Stark black and white.

London based artist Gary Ward presents a video projection depicting people asleep on trains. Removed from their non-place, Borderlands asks where they exist.

 

Olivia Lory-Kay - An Empty Set - august 16-19

An installation of video, text and photographs that both reveals and revels in the insincerity of representation. Using director&rsquos notes, annotated scripts and storyboards, An Empty Set invites a viewer to regard a series of scenes as they never could never have happened.

Cool Runnings showcases three of New Zealands most exciting installation and new media artists. Drawing with equal ease on a pot-pouri of art historical models and everyday pop culture, Cool Runnings hides its latent guerilla tendancies under an urbane and minimal exterior, running the gamut from life size 3-D drawings to artists who morph into super-heroes.
